Hi, I’m Christelle!

I specialise in helping tired, busy and stressed women break their sugar habit, regain their energy and lose weight so that they feel at their healthiest and happiest ever - without feeling miserable by giving into another calorie-restricted or quick-fix diet.

I truly believe that everybody deserves good health, and that the body can heal itself if given the right tools. My mission when working with clients is to encourage them to take control of their health by making nutrition simple so that they can take positive and easy steps to change their diet and lifestyle and feel better than ever.

As a mum of two young children, I know the pressure you are under trying to juggle several plates at once, feed your family healthy meals whilst feeling stressed, tired and barely able to function on a daily basis. I understand the difficulties that you have because I have encountered them too! If you suspect something is wrong with you, it probably is… I knew something was wrong with me because I had felt quite unhappy and unwell for a while, I struggled with normal daily tasks and slowly started to see weight creeping on despite eating an OK diet. So I went to the GP but was fobbed off and offered anti-depressants, which I refused. Instead I started experimenting with my nutrition. The fog started to lift quite quickly and I started to be back to my old happier and healthier self. This was a turning point for me and a driving force to be determined to help others who are in the situation I was in.

I am convinced that one of the most important gaps in conventional medicine is the importance that diet and lifestyle plays in people’s general health and well-being. My ongoing passion for nutrition combined with my own health struggles led me to retrain and study nutrition for four years at the Institute for Optimum Nutrition before opening my own private clinic, Keep Calm Nutrition, where I now help clients on a 1-2-1 basis. As a fully qualified and registered Nutritional Therapist, I am a member of the British Association of Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT) and the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) and continue further my knowledge through mandatory Continuing Professional Development (CPD) education to maintain my standards and registration to governing bodies. I am also a Metabolic Balance® coach and have integrated this service into my practice to develop highly personalised and effective nutrition plans for weight loss.

My recommendations reflect real life and I will always suggest realistic and achievable dietary and lifestyle interventions to create a personal plan based entirely on you and your needs. No quick fixes, no generic health plans, no fad diets or old-fashioned calorie counting.
